A Senior Lecturer in Data Science at the University of Derby, Dr. Yu is a leading authority on RAG and Knowledge Graphs. His role extends beyond executive leadership; he is a mentor of innovation. Having supervised the development of award-winning industrial AI systems, Dr. Yu ensures LucenAI’s vision is grounded in rigorous scientific method and next-generation data architecture.
Brian Scanlon

Brian represents the convergence of cybersecurity and applied AI. Holding a First Class Honours in Software Engineering, his collaboration with Dr. Yu began at the University of Derby, where he architected a commercial AI system for Bloc Digital (funded by EMIZ) as his capstone project.
Brian combines this cutting-edge AI experience with a deep background in security governance as the founder of Projix. He ensures LucenAI’s platform is not only intellectually advanced but built upon a framework of absolute security and industrial scalability.
